WALK AND BIKE PATH TO WEST PARK CENTER:
A letter dated March 25, 1980 was received from numerous West Park Center
merchants requesting a walk -bike path from the west edge of the Standard
station west along Elkhorn Avenue to the west property line of West Park
Center. The Committee explained that an asphalt path to the east edge
of West Park Center already exists but several businesses use portions
of it for parking. Dick Hillyer stated that the West Park Center mer-
chants would agree to move the parking on the south side of the fence
at West Park Center to the north side of the river if the Town would
extend the path along the front of West Park Center. The Committee
recommends restriping and crosshatching the path from the Standard sta-
tion to the east edge of West Park Center and that any extension along
West Park Center be the responsibility of the West Park Center merchants.

Recreation District would be responsible for loading and hauling the
material.
