STANLEY PARK FACILITIES:
Bob Scott appeared before the Committee asking whether or not the Horse
Show and Rodeo Committee could accept donations towards an indoor arena
facility and additional stalls. He stated that several donations could
be obtained which would contribute significantly towards the financing
of these proposed facilities. The Committee responded favorably to
the idea of contributions but expressed concern regarding the total
cost of the project as well as the operating and maintenance expenses
which would be borne by the Town. Mr. Scott agreed to further detail
the estimated costs.
STANLEY PARK SEWER LINE:
The Committee reviewed the proposed right-of-way agreement for the
sewer line across Stanley Park along the playground access road and
Community Drive and recommends adoption of the resolution authorizing
the Mayor to sign the agreement.
MUNICIPAL BUILDING WINDOW REPLACEMENT:
The following bids were received for replacing the windows in the Muni-
cipal Building:

The Committee recommends accepting Songbird Construction's bid of
$69,945.41 for the total replacement project.
SANITARY LANDFILL/TOWN SHOPS ACCESS ROAD:
Public Works Director Widmer expressed concern for the condition and
maintenance of the dump access road which is used a great deal by the
Town, County and State Highway Department. Although the road is located
in the County, it is not a dedicated County road. The Committee directed
the Public Works Director to contact the State Highway Department and
County regarding cooperative maintenance of the road.
1982 BUDGET:
The Committee reviewed the first draft of the 1982 Public Works Depart-
ment budget.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
