STANLEY PARK - TRACTOR PURCHASE - GASOLINE STORAGE:
The tractor authorized by the Public Works Committee on February 18, 1962
has been purchased and delivered. The lease purchase was not practical
for the amount over the budget ($10,628.60). The Committee authorized
this amount to be transferred from 1982 additional Sales Tax.
Bob Scott, Manager of Stanley Park, requested peiiuission to install two
1,000 gallon fuel storage tanks at Stanley Park. The Committee directed
the Public Works Director to issue a gas key to Bob Scott which would
enable him to obtain fuel from the Town fuel storage area. The request
to install fuel tanks at Stanley Park was denied.
TELEPHONE SYSTEM:
The staff presented the four telephone proposals received and recommended
the "Executone proposal in the amount of $29,936.00 be accepted and that
the lease purchase from the First National Bank for five years at 111/2%
off-pbremisesptedlephoneslshould lnot increase Ethe upurchase abovetone gadditional $31,000.00.

A request for an increase of $1,000.00 for additional hostess salaries

Milt Ericson appeared before the Committee and submitted plans for an
addition to the Museum. The Museum Board will provide all funds neces-
sary in excess of the $1,000.00obuudgeted by the Town. The Committee
recommends this request be approved.

Director of Public Works Widmer submitted and reviewed a landscaping

REPORTS:
Hospital Bypass - Director Widmer reported on the property purchases
necessary for this project.
Window Project - The window contractor has filed a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy
action to reorganize their company. The Weathershield_Company has:. filed a
notice they intend to file a lien against the Town. Town Attorney White
is working on the legal liability of the Town in this matter.
Beaver Point Annexation - Petitions for Phase I of this annexation will
be mailed on March 23, 1982.
Energy - Director Widmer reported the Municipal Building energy saving
for February was $700.00.
