Chief's Landscaping $44,972.25 2. Joseph D. Jatcko, General Contractor $49,211.00 3. Environmental Concerns $60,987.00 The Committee, along with Mr. Russ Butler of EDAW, Inc., examined the bid document and have determined that the following items can be eliminated: ITEM AMOUNT TO BE DEDUCTED FROM BID PRICE 1. Accept Chief Landscaping Gravel Alternate for walks. $ 234.50 2. Fill under parking areas to be borrow type fill except for sub -base for asphalt paving, which shall be gravel as specified. 3. Change timber curb to single tie from double tie construction. 4. Eliminate 2 foot deadman tie on all timber borders. 5. Eliminate center tie support on both sets of timber steps. 6. Eliminate plant material and drip irrigation line in planting area between parking areas (maintain connection for installation of drip irrigation line in future). 7. Eliminate play structure 8. Eliminate 3 timber benches. 9. Eliminate park light (city to provide wire for light and Chief Landscaping to lay wire in irrigation trench to light location shown on plans). 10. Eliminate rip -rap (until decision can be made regarding actual quantity of rip -rap required).
