Following discussion, the Committee recommends the Town Attorney, Director Widmer and Administrator Hill meet with the Board of Directors of the Stanley Hills Homeowner's Association for further information and possible negotiation regarding the open space lots. Mr. Van Horn also addressed the acquisition of a drainage ease- ment. Discussion followed including the installation of cul- verts, accel/decel lanes and detention on the Stanley Village property. The Committee recommends the developer be required to widen Steamer Drive to three lanes to the Stanley Village en- trance, install acceleration and deceleration lanes meeting Highway Department standards at Steamer Drive and Highway 34, and also that the developer submit a drainage study to the Public Works Director. Upon submittal of the study, Director Widmer will then so inform the Public Works Committee. 1985 BUDGET REVIEW: The Committee reviewed and discussed the preliminary draft of the Budget for 1985. The petition requested periodic application of a dust suppressant to help rid the area of an extremely dusty condition. The Committee recommends applying the dust suppressant to Elm Road if the County and Highway Department will split the cost.
