Following are some of the building and operating'. figures:
$20,.00 per ton capaoity to build. Total cost about $100,000.00.
$2.10.per ton to operate.
100.00 per day to operate (16:hours per day)
$17,600.00 per year for operating and bonds & interest.
The estimated annual income under the 1962 Urban and: Rural Dump permit
rates isestimated at$12,614.50. This does not include the YMCA or
Larimer County. The above figure also depends on 100'%'collection inside
Estes Park.
En ineer, discussed the general problems of Sanitation,
Tom Keffler, Sanitary, . & �and in particular, the incinerator for Estes Park.
The problem of private persons hauling to the collection yard during
the printer was discussed at length. The Engineer • suggested the Dump
be closed to private hauling except one day per week.
The proposed plant will be built 150 to 200 feet north of the present
house at the Dump property.. It will be of cement construction,551 X 21'.
The stack will: rise 100 feet above the building. the annual expenses
There was considerable discussion of methods of paying
at the Dump. Among these were a Dump Permit for those out —side the corporate
limits' of the Town and Tax Levy for, those inside the Town.
