It has come to the attention of the Clerk’s Office a change in ownership for 246 Virginia Dr.
occurred on July 1,2019.Per Estes Valley Development Code Regulations,to properly transfer
and maintain a vacation home registration,the new property owner of record is required to
submit a transfer application within 15 days of the change in ownership.
Estes Valley Development Code Vacation Home Regulations:
5.1.B.1.a.(5)No more than one (1)operating registration shall be issued and effective in any
given calendar year for each vacation home.An active registration for a specific vacation home
shall be transferable to a different owner in accordance with procedures in this Code and as
established by the Town Clerk’s Office.A registration assigned to a vacation home shall not be
transferred to another vacation home of the same or different ownership.
5.1.B.1.a.(13)If the property owner changes during the calendar year,it shall be the
responsibility of the new property owner of record to transfer the operating registration into his/her
name within fifteen (75)days of transfer of ownership,and to ensure all other regulations in this
Section are in compliance.
As a transfer application was not submitted within the 15-day requirement,this property is no
longer securing a vacation home registration.Therefore,any operation of a vacation home at
the above address without a valid vacation home registration shall be a violation of the Estes
Valley Development Code regulations.Reapplication will be subject to the Vacation Home
Registration Cap.Enclosed please find a full copy of the regulations,the 2020 renewal
paperwork received by the Clerk’s Office and check #1332 issued by SUN365,Inc.dba River
Rock Cottages in the amount of $300.00
To apply for a registration and be placed in the waitlist,please visit
estes.orQ/vacationhomeregistrations and complete the Vacation Home Registration Application
in full.
