HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Administrative Committee 1989-11-06(-S)0 RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Administrative Committee November 6,1989 Committee of the Whole:Chairman Hix,Mayor Dannels and Board of Trustees Attending:All Also Attending:Town Administrator Klaphake,Finance Officer Vavra,Department Supervisors, Clerk O’Connor Absent:None Chairman Hix called the meeting of the Administrative Committee to order at 2:11 P.M. 1990 OCCUPATION LICENSE PROPOSAL. Town Administrator Kiaphake reported the preliminary 1990 Budget was prepared increasing the Occupation License fee to $75 from the current fee of $50.The license fee increase is estimated to net an additional $18,000.The $25.00 increase,plus any funds received from a “voluntary assessment”to businesses located outside Town Limits,will be earmarked for advertising.The Committee recommends Town Attorney White prepare an ordinance authorizing the increase in the Occupation Licensee fee to $75. 1990 BUDGET -REVIEW. Administrator Kiaphake presented and reviewed revisions for inclusion in the 1990 Budget. Light and Power Director Dekker reviewed Light and Power Revenue and Expenditures;Public Works Director Widmer reviewed Water Revenue and Expenditures;and Finance Officer Vavra reviewed the Self Insurance,Police,and Fire Pension Funds. The Administrative Committee will further consider and make recommendations for adoption of the 1990 Budget during its meeting scheduled November 20th.The budqet public hearing will take place during the Town Board meeting scheduled December 12, 1989.
