INSURANCE BIDS
The Committee reviewed the insurance bids as directed by the Mayor.A
legal opinion from the Town Attorney was reviewed by the Committee.This
opinion is attached to and made a part of these proceedings.
The Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes
Park that the insurance bid in the amount of $6,663.00 submitted by the
Palmer Agency be accepted.This bid would be for the base insurance
package plus options one,two and three.
CARPETING AND HEATING
The Committee discussed carpeting the Town Hall.This subject was
tabled until the next meeting.The Committee discussed proposed heating
facilities in both the Town Hall and the former National Park Service
buildings.The Committee tabled further discussion on this subject
pending additional information on electric heat.
RESEARCH CENTER LEASE
The Town Administrator was instructed to negotiate further on the rental
credits as they will apply in relation to the Center financial improve
ments.The proposed lease was reviewed and is recommended to the Board
of Trustees for acceptance.
TOWN HALL SIGN
The Town Administrator was authorized to have a new routed wood sign
placed on the front of the Town Hall.The Town Administrator was in
structed to request the Chamber of Commerce to have the same style and
form of routed wood sign placed on the Chamber of Commerce building and
have the neon sign removed.
SIDEWALKS
Superintendent McCracken was authorized to have a flagstone walk in
stalled on the west side of the Town Hall.
PARKING LOT NUMBER TWO
The Committee studied the Myers Beautification Committee design for
this lot.The Committee feels further study should be made on the
traffic patterns prior to actual construction.
The Committee recommends the necessary inside painting of the Town Hall
be offered for bids.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
