The figure of $21,000 is short $3,100 that, hopefully, will be held in reserve in order to use as needed. SPRING/SUMMER NEWSPAPER ADVERTISING: $3,100.00 1. Omaha World Herald 2. Des Moines Register Tribune 3. Dallas Times 4. Houston Chronicle 5. Chicago Tribune 6. Kansas City Star 7. Peoria 8. Local Valley Papers --Loveland, Longmont, Ft. Collins, Boulder SPRING/SUMMER/FALL T.U.: 1. Channel 9, Denver: 14 times per week for 6 weeks 3 weeks in May, last week in August, 2 weeks in September WINTER -MAGAZINES AND NEWSPAPERS: $2,500.00 1. Ski County U.S.A. 2. Houston, Dallas, Kansas City, Omaha, Des Moines $12,100.00 GROUP ADVERTISING: 1. Meetings & Planners Guide 2. Convention Group Packet 3. 4 Season Brochure (25,000) 4 " re -order $1,600 3,000 2,500 5,000 $4,200.00 TOTAL $21,900.00 Mr. Ranglos stated that the Chamber still has several outstanding debts but that efforts are being made to cut expenses without sacrificing service. The 1980 budget has been reduced from over $200,000 to an expected $126,000. He also commented that they are attempting to con- solidate all local advertising efforts.
