Hill, Ronald Reiland, Manager of the Chamber of Commerce, Martin Jelsema, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Advertising Committee, Mrs. Barbara Murphy, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Charles Herzog and John Webermeier Absent: None FINANCIAL REPORT: The financial report from the Chamber of Commerce Advertising Committee was reviewed in detail. This report covers the first quarter of 1974. SPECIAL ADVERTISING PROGRAM - NATIONAL: Mr. Charles Herzog appeared before the Committee and explained the State of Colorado advertising program planned for national newspaper circulation in the immediate future. Mr. Herzog reported on donations of individual members for supplementary advertising of the Estes Park area. The Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees, the Town of Estes Park make a special contribution to this particular program in the amount of $2,000.00. DENVER SYMPHONY: The Chamber of Commerce letter dated April 8, 1974, regarding the Denver Symphony Orchestra and a proposed performance was discussed at length by the Committee. After considerable discussion, the Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees the request be denied. This action appeared to have the support of the represen- tatives of the Chamber of Commerce who were present at this meeting. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
