Code & Sanitation Committee
August 26, 1970

Attending: Chairman Brownfield, Trustees Dannels and Steele
Also Attending: Town Administrator Hill
Mr. Robert Makinster, representing Parker-Makinster, presented cost
figures on the operation of the sanitary land fill to the Committee.
The Committee recommends to the Board of Trustee that the Town continue
the present method of sanitary land fill at the dump on a week to week
basis at a cost of $300.00 per week. The Committee recommends these
funds be charged to the General Fund Contingency account. The Commit-
tee decided the present schedule of hours the dump is open to the public
will remain in effect until October 15, 1970. Prior to this date the
Committee will make a decision as to winter hours.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
