GAS PIPING CODE:
The Public Service Company of Colorado has requested the Town, by letter
dated March 29, 1971, to consider adopting a Gas Piping Code. They
propose adopting the Uniform Mechanical Code, 1970 Edition.
The Committee decided to study the adoption of this code and also study
the Uniform Plumbing Code.
MOVING BUILDINGS:
The Committee feels there is no problem with uncompleted moving jobs at
this time.
JUNK VEHICLES:
The Committee discussed the problem of junk vehicles in Estes Park.
After considerable discussion, the Committee decided to meet with Mr.
Clarence Nace of Wellington on Monday, April 12, 1971. The Committee
recommends no vehicles be deposited in the Town Dump until further
notice.
BLOWING TRASH:
The Committee discussed the problem of blowing trash at the dump. Bob
Makinster reported the sophomore class at the school will do some clean-
ing on April 17th.
Some suggestions are:
1. Require all trash be placed in plastic bags.
2. Build twelve (12) foot fence at the dump.
3. Build large building and bale the trash.
4. Shredder.
Cost estimates for plastic sacks and fencing will be obtained.
PAPER DRIVE:
The Committee decided to ask the Realtors to conclude the use of the
building at the dump by May 15, 1971.
There being no further business, the meeting adjounred.•
