Attorney White discussed the legal procedures necessary for the acquisition which included the following: 1. An agreement between the Estes Park Sanitation District and the Town of Estes Park. 2. Dissolution of the Sanitation District. 3. Finance - Debt service. 4. Current District employees. 5. Transfer of assets. 6. Sewer rates. The Sanitation District would file a petition in District Court; the Court would then hold a public hearing; if sufficient cause is presented, the Court would order a special election.
