RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Firemen's Pension Board February 23, 1989 Board: Mayor Dannels, Fire Chief Rumley, 1st Assistant Chief Ford, 2nd Assistant Chief Campbell, Treasurer Vavra, Secre- tary O'Connor Attending: Fire Chief Rumley, 1st Assistant Chief Ford, 2nd Assistant Chief Campbell, Treasurer Vavra, Secretary O'Connor Absent: Mayor Dannels Also Attending: None Chief Rumley called the meeting of the Firemen's Pension Board to order at 1:47 P.M. APPLICATION FOR PENSION. MUIRHEAD, Robert D. - Due to medical reasons, Mr. Muirhead has submitted his application for pension. Fire Department Secretary Chrastil confirmed Mr. Muirhead served 15 years, 8 months as a volunteer fireman, and that all equipment was returned to the Department. Mr. Muirhead has not reached the minimum age re- quirement of 50 years of age; therefore, the effective date for his pension will be November 1, 1993. Fifteen years of service entitles Mr. Muirhead to 75% of the pension benefit. Treasurer Vavra moved the application be approved and deferred until November 1, 1993, including the 75% pension benefit amount. 1st Assistant Chief Ford seconded the motion and it passed unanimous- ly. There being no further business, Chief Rumley adjourned the meeting at 1:50 P.M. Vickie O'Connor, Secretary
