Building Inspector Mowery and Town Engineer Van Horn.
RIVERFRONT:
The Building Inspector presented a bid proposal from Mr.Jenista and
Mr.Montz.This proposal covered a portion of the work scheduled to
be completed.After reviewing this proposal plus the additional work
to be completed by the Town,the Committee decided to recommend a de
lay in the project until the fall of 1970.This is a matching Federal
Aid project with a completion date of October 31,1971.
RIVERSIDE PARKING LOT SIGN:
The Building Inspector presented sign estimates from Spur Signs &
Woodwork as follows:
1.Elkhorn Avenue walkway sign 39”x 72”routed wood same as
signs on parking lot No.1 -$310.00 installed.
2.Two signs in the rking lot 39”x 72”with posts same as
the signs on parking lot No.1 -$540.00 installed.
The Committee decided to table any action on new signs for this parking
lot until 1971.
The present illuminated sign will be removed.
ELTON JOHNSON SIDEWALK:
The Building Inspector submitted the following quotations for the Elton
Johnson sidewalk:
1.Pinson -$1,545.00 for concrete and labor,new sidewalk.Price
does not include removal of old concrete.
2.H &H Concrete -$663.00 labor only for new sidewalk.Price
does not include new concrete or removal of old concrete.
The Committee recommends the Town Administrator be authorized to award
this job when firm bids are received on the total job.
ROOF BID ON MUNICIPAL COURT BUILDINGS:
The Building Inspector presented the following roof bids on the Munici
pal Court buildings:
1.Anderson -$1,452.00
2.Garcia -$1,890.00
The Committee recommends the low bid by Anderson Roofing be accepted.

NEW BRIDGE ON EAST RIVERSIDE:
Town Engineer Van Horn reported on progress to date on the proposed new
bridge on East Riverside Drive.The Larimer County bridge crew will
place the abutments for both the vehicle and pedestrian bridges.The
design will be done by Town Engineer Van Horn.This portion of the
bridge construction will be completed this fall.The pre-stressed con
crete slabs will be scheduled for the spring of 1971.Cost estimates to
date are as follows:
Concrete -75 yards @ $20.00 $1,500.00
Steel 500.00
Excavating 200.00
Engineering 1,100.00

The Larimer County Road Department has agreed to resurface Community
Drive and Brook Drive.They have also agreed to a temporary oil treat
ment for the Riverside Parking Lot.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
