WHEEL CHAIR RAMPS:
Town Engineer Van Horn reported he is awaiting plans and specifications
for wheel chair ramps and will report back to the Committee as soon as
they are available.
UPPER THOMPSON SANITATION DISTRICT:
The Town Administrator reported he had received preliminary plans for
the locations of the sewer collection system as it is proposed through
Estes Park.The Committee recommends we obtain professional assist
ance in determining the eventual route of these sewer transmission
mains through Estes Park.
POST OFFICE PARKING LOT LETTER BOXES:
The attached designs were submitted to the Committee for their consider
ation.The cost estimate as submitted by Town Engineer Van Horn is
$500.00.After considerable discussion the Committee directed the Town
Engineer to present this plan to the post office authorities for their
reaction and report the results back to the next committee meeting.
STREET VACATE -HYDE PARK:
Guy R.Smith and T.R.Williams,owners of Lots 8 and 9,Hyde Park
Addition,submitted a request to the Town to vacate the twenty foot
easement now located between the two lots.Due to the eventual de
velopment of the property to the south and the possible need for utility
easements in this area,the Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees
that the request for the street vacate be denied.
SERVICE CENTER DEVELOPMENT PLAN:
Phillips,Carter,Reister and Associates estimate the cost of the Service
Center Development Plan along with consideration of the Tourist Informa
tion Center would not exceed $5,000.PCR &Associates would bill the
Town on their regular standard fees.The Committee recommends to the
Board of Trustees that PCR &Associates be engaged to complete the
Service Center Development Plan along with necessary information needed
on the Tourist Information Center.
CAPITAL BUDGET -1973:
The Committee recommends the following capital budget for the Town of
Estes Park for 1973:

FALL RIVER ANNEXATION:
The Town Engineer presented a preliminary plat of the proposed Fall River
area annexation.The proposed annexation consists of more than eighty
property owners.The Committeerecommends to the Board of Trustees
that the preliminary plans proceed and that the Committee be authorized
to work out specific street and road problems.The Committee also
recommends that a property owners meeting be arranged sometime before
they leave Estes Park for the season.
