FURNITURE AND FIXTURES:
Mr.Floyd Reister of DMJM-Phillips-Reister along with representatives of
Seal Furniture,Inc.,and Hirschfeld’s Office Furniture,Inc.explained
the furniture and fixture proposals for the new municipal building.
The Committee recommends the following portions of the two proposals be
accepted and that the architect be instructed to place the orders:
1)Seal Furniture Co.-rooms E 137,E 108,E 115 amended,
F 118,E 119,E 122,F 117,E 140,E 145,E 144 amended
E 142,F 143,108,107,106.($15,348.07)
2)Hirschfeld’s Office Furniture-rooms E 107,E 111,F 116,
F 128,E 127,E 126,F 121,E 125,E 120,E 139,E 155 amended,
104,128 &129 amended,and Fire Dept.($14,397.08)
The Committee also authorized the Town Administrator and Town Engineer to
make necessary changes in the above and to order the miscellaneous accessories
(cost estimate $3,000.00).
The drapery proposals have not yet been received.These will be considered by
the Committee when presented.
PARK VIEW ESTATES-STORM DRAINAGE:
Mr.and Mrs.Newton,owners of Park View Subdivision,appeared before the
Coninittee to discuss the storm drainage plan for their subdivision.A
legal opinion dated October 18,1973,regarding the storm drainage was
discussed by the Committee.The Town Engineer will work with Mr.Newton
in his efforts to plan the most feasible storm drainage for the Park View
Estate Subdivision.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.(1:00 P.M.-5:30 P.M.)
