BOND PARK REQUEST:
The Committee recommends the request submitted by “Sing Out Colorado”on
February 7,1974 be approved subject to the rules and regulations now in
effect.
VIRGINIA DRIVE:
Mr.Neil Rosener has requested the Town pay the survey cost ($684.00)incurred
on Virginia Drive and adjoining property.Mr.Rosener is representing Dr.Beckord
and Mr.Schultz in this matter.The Committee recommends the Board of Trustees
not pay this cost as the basic reason for the survey is to establish the boundaries
of the adjoining properties.
HOSPITAL STREETS:
Director of Public Works Van Horn submitted the following cost estimates to
hard surface the street abutting the new hospital:
1)819 feet of 2 inch asphalt mat $4,300.00
2)Surface preparation for mat 4,000.00
$8,300.00
The Committee recommends this project be included in the 1974 (Fall)street
improvement program,if the hospital construction schedule is far enough along.
VEHICLES:
Director of Public Works Van Horn submitted the following vehicle proposals:

3)Value of five year old Ford is currently $150.00 more
than International.
It is recommended that Trail Ridge Ford proposal be accepted.

FALL RIVER ROAD:
A legal opinion dated February 5,1974,was reviewed by the Committee.ThisopinionsaysineffectthattheroadisaTownStreetandthatitshouldberepairedandmaintainedbytheTown.Director of Public Works Van Horn willfollowuponthismatterandreportbacktotheCommittee.
LIBRARY:
The Library Boardrequest for additional space was discussed at length by theCommittee.This is one of the Capital Improvement items to be studied in theLord&Associates Planning Project.The Committee will continue to study theLibraryBoar&request and will make recommendations to the Board of Trustees.
MUNICIPAL BUILDING:
The Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees that the school be givenuntilMarch1,1974,to decide on the space rental in the new Municipal Building.
The Committee reviewed the January 31,1974,cost projections for the newMunicipalBuilding.
BOND PARK:
A preliminary sketch of the proposed development of Bond Park was submitted totheCommitteebytheDirectorofPublicWorks.This sketch is attached to theseproceedings.
The Counnittee recommends the Director of Public Works be authorized and directedtoprepareplansandspecificationsforthedevelopmentofBondParkandtheremovaloftheFireandPoliceBuildingandtheTownHall.
