HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Street Committee 1969-02-25Street Committee February 25,1969 RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Committee: Attending: Also Attending: Chairman Swanson;Trustees Erickson and Tregent Chairman Swanson;Trustee Tregent Superintendent McCracken,Town Administrator Hill Absent:Trustee Erickson Street Superintendent McCracken reported the Dry Gulch Motor bid on the 1½+ton truck did include the dump bed.This dump bed is priced at an estimated cost-$1,200.00 installed.This would result in a net bid of $3,626.00 as compared to the Estes Park Garage bid of $3,193.68. The Street Committee,as authorized by the Board of Trustees,accepts the bid submitted by the Estes Park Garage in the amount of $3,193.68 plus $69.70 for the larger engine (361 cubic inches). Orville Thomas,President of the Rodeo Committee,agreed to pay the Town of Estes Park $815.00 for the 1962 -2½ton Ford dump truck. Official ownership will remain in the name of the Town of Estes Park. This is to facilitate the purchase of license plates and insurance. Delivery date to the Rodeo Committee will correspond with the date the Town receives it’s truck. The Street Committee authorized Superintendent McCracken to purchase a dump bed and hoist and have it installed on the new Dodge truck. The Committee accepted the bid submitted by the Estes Park Garage for a ½ton pick-up in the amount of $1,523.77. Chairman Swanson is to clear up any warranty question and make the acceptance with the Estes Park Garage for the 1½ton and ½ton trucks.
