Town Clerk Dale G.Hill
The Committee discussed the possibility of widening Virginia Drive to
60 feet.Town Engineer Van Horn explained the survey of Virginia Drive.
There was considerable discussion about the rock walls belonging to
the Frestons,Bonds,and Brinkleys.The Committee decided to table any
further consideration of this project until further legal advice is obtained.
The Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees Superintendent McCracken
be authorized to purchase a spreader at a cost of 64l.OO.Funds are budgeted
for this expenditure in 1965.
The Committee discussed ‘curb cuts”for the Lone Pine Subdivision.
The Committee discussed the subdivision regulation ordinance at length.
The Committee recommends the Board of Trustees discuss a possible amending
of this ordinance to the effect that the Town would require secondary streets
be hard surfaced with a 2”asphalt mat.
