HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Water Committee 1958-06-05n RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Water Departnent Committee June 5,l95 Committee:Mayor Graves,Chairman Damiels,Herzog,Snart,Grove,Tallant Hill Attending:Dannels,Grove,Herzog,Snart,Tailant,Hill Guempelein 2nd Filing Mr.Guempelein appeared before the Committee and requested water service for ten lots in the second filing of the Charles Heights Subdivision,Mr.Guempelein asked that he be ailowed to trade the availability of water in the first filing for the availability of water in the second filing.The proposed ten lots in the second filing wiil all be below an elevation of 70O feet.This is referred to the Board of Trustees with no recommendation. Recreation District Golf Course Mr.Finley and Mr.Kremenak appeared before the Committee requesting the Town continue to furnish water for the Golf Course until such time as the legal situation clears and the pumping station can be installed.The Committee recommends this request be approved. The hours agreed upon are from 12 P.M.to 5 A.M. Recreation District Golf Course The Committee recommends the l95 charge for the Golf Course be $500.00.Last years charge was $400.00.The Committee feels this is in line with current water charges. Recreation District Lake Estes The Committee recommends the charge for hose bibs at Lake Estes be $l.00 each. Fall River Water System Superintendent Tallant reported the engLneering on this project is now complete.The Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees the Town proceed with the construction of the Fall River water system. Black Canyon Water Supply It was reported that Mr.Starkey,Attorney for the Town,has filed the condemnation suit in District Court.The preleminary hearing is to be held on the 23rd of June. a RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Water Department Conunittee —2—June 5,1958 Applications For Water: Henry Bowman Stanley Heights Addition A Lot 16 Mr.Bowman requests an extension of one year on this application. The Committee recommends this application be approved. J.R.Bissell,Jr.and Armen Schultes The Committee recommends that these applications not be approved.
