Car Washing Restrictions
Tregent,Seybold and Whipperman station operators appeared before the
Committee and asked to have restrictions lifted on car washing.The
Committee agreed that if spring type shut—off nozzles will be used by
the stations,the restrictions will be lifted.
Rickel Water Line
A letter from Mr.Rickel was read to the Committee.Mr.Rickel complained
about the 3/If inch line serving himself and three of his neighbors.The
Committee agreed it would be airight for Mr.Rickel and his neighbors to
install a 1 or l inch water line from the main to their property.
D.H.Schmitt Request For Reduction of Water Rates
The Committee instructed Dale Hill to write Mr.Schmitt informing him his
request is denied.
Knowlton Rights of Way
Mr.Knowlton has requested money in lieu of two tap permits for the right—
of—way across his property.The Committee recommends this request be approved.
The amount in lieu of two water taps would be 30O.00.
Black Canyon Water Supply
The Townt s Attorney,Mr.Starkey has arranged a meeting with Miss MacGregor’s
Attorneys Carison &Carlson for August 12 at 10 A.M.
Big Thompson Water Supply
The engineering firm of Philips,Carter,Osborne have recommended rapid
sand filters for the Big Thompson Plant.The estimated cost of this con
struction is $6,0OO.The Committee has requested a meeting with the
engineers for further information on this project.
Sprinkling Regulations
The Committee recommends that no changes in the current regulations be
made at this time.
