February 11,1964

This meeting was called in regard to the W.W.Wheeler and Associates
engineering report on the water supply system improvements.Mr.W.W.
Wheeler and Bill Wheeler appeared before the Water Committee and reviewed
in detail the report on the cost of water supply system improvements
February,1964.Following are the costs of the recommended improvements.

(1)This cost can be reduced by about $12,400 if the Big Thompson
loop is constructed with 8-inch pipe salvaged from the present
Glacier Creek supply line instead of new pipe.
(2)If micro-strainers can be used,the estimated cost is $200,000.
The Water Committee did not make a definite recommendation.Further study
of the proposed changes will be needed.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
