The Water Committee recommends the Board of Trustees award the bid to the
low bidder.
Mr.Warren Hurd submitted a request on behalf of the Estes Park Construction
Company for a water tap on Lot 29 Hondius Heights Subdivision. The Water
Committee recommends this request be denied. The Board of Trustees has
adopted the policy that no out-of-town taps be allowed.Mr.Dannels read
the following statement to Mr.Hurd in regard to the Town’s water policy:
Under the provisions of Paragh 5 of the Hondius agreement, the Town has
adopted the policy that for the present,no further taps will be granted to
the Hondius property. This policy applies to all properties outside the
corporate limits.
In general, from the engineering data obtained by the Town, the Town Board
determined that it does not have a sufficient water supply at this time to
meet the needs of the Town and that because of this fact, the Board adopted
the policy of making no additional taps outside the corporate limits.”

question.
