The Water Committee proceeded to open bids on the pump for the Glacier
Creek water system.Bids were as follows:
Hank Thurston Company,Byron Jackson Pump ...$1,739.00
Harry J.Glass and Associates,Flo Way Pump ..1,900.00
Colorado Pump and Supply Co.,Peerless Pump ..2,178.00
Goebel,Sampson and Smith,Fairbanks Morris ..2,325.00
Mountain States Industries,Worthington Pump .2,149.00
Mr.Robert Kemp of Phillips-Carter-Osborn reviewed the bids and suggested
the bid for a Byron Jackson Pump submitted by the Hank Thurston Company
of Denver in the amount of $1,739.00 be recommended to the Board of
Trustees for acceptance.The Water Committee recommends the above.
The following rural water applications were approved:
Al Alzheimer,residence,High Drive Heights,Lot 8,Division 9;
Nagl &McCarey,business,Highway #66;
Mrs.James C.Clinton,residence,Stanley A Lot 42;
Mrs.A.P.Wilking,residence and pool,Stanley A Lots 10 and 11;
Mrs.Harold A.Merrill,residence,100 ft.west of Dale VerStaeten’s
house;
Mrs.Kenneth Krentz,residence,Stanley A Lot 31;
Mrs.Dorothy Scott,residence,Stanley A,Lot 12 and 13.
(This approval is subject to the necessary right of way
agreement being signed for the proposed extension to the
Devils Gulch line);
Everett J.Ritchie,residence,Highway #66 near Sinclair
Service Station;and
Lew D.Williams,business unit,Highway #66,formerly Parton
Wood Shop.
Mr.Richard J.Stocker,Lot 3,Division 9,High Drive Heights,submitted an
application for a residence.The Committee tabled this application until
such time as the distribution system in this area is adequate to serve the
above mentioned request.
Mr.Robert H.Bigler submitted an application to serve 20 acres of resi
dential subdivision consisting of 10 to 14 lots about 200 feet southwest
of the Walt Howard residence.The Committee recommends approval upon
annexation of this property.
Mountain Estates,Inc.submitted an application to serve 26 lots of the
subdivision entitled Park Entrance Estates.This subdivision is north of
the High Drive road near Beaver Point.The Committee tabled this application
until elevations are established and also further study of the distribution
system.

A request was submitted to change the location of the existing 2”Town
water line on Lot 12,White Meadow View Place Addition.The Committee
recommends the approval of the change in this water line if the property
owner will bear the entire cost of moving its location and upon the re
ceipt of a 10 foot right of way for the street location and water line.
The Water Committee reviewed the Accounts Receivable and recommend that
the power supply not be turned on to water accounts that are delinquent.
The Town Clerk was instructed to write Mr.Scott,Vice President of the
Fish Creek Corporation and advise him that the Water Committee can meet
with him on March 7,1966.
Mr.Robert Kemp of Phillips-Carter-Osborn submitted drawings for speci
fications on meter pits.Superintendent McCracken will make the changes
he feels necessary and return them to Phillips-Carter-Osborn.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
