Request one tap for each 10 acres,or a total of 5 residential taps.The Committee recommends this application be denied because of the inadequate transmission and distribution system in this area. John Jones,9 acres west of the Dekker Addition.Request one tap for each acre or a total of 9 residential taps.On September 26,1966,the Board of Trustees indicated to Mr.Jones the Town would look favorably to his annexa tion of the entire 30 acres located in this area.The Water Committee re commends Mr.Jones’request for water to serve the 9 acres be approved subject to the 30 acre annexation. Mr.L.Vernon Rider’s letter of December 2,1966,offering the Town one cubic foot of water per second,was discussed at length.The Water Committee re commends the same answer be given Mr.Rider as was given to him by letter on February 8,1966. In accordance with Section 21.9-5 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado,the Water Committee recommends the Board of Trustees adopt the following resolution: RE SOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK, COLORADO: That for the purpose of determining the amount of water and the money equivalent thereof to be furnished to the Town in compliance with Section 21.9-5 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Estes Park,Colorado, one unit of Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District water (sometimes referred to as one acre foot of Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District water)shall be equal to .80 of an acre foot of water,and the money equiva lent of one unit of Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District water shall be $125.00. .80 =$125.00 1 acre foot =156.25 I acre foot =234.37 Superintendent McCracken was given permission to contact Phillips-Carter Reister and obtain their advice on the operation of the pressure reservoir at Glacier Creek.
