W.Albert Field,Lot 21,Charles Heights Subdivision. Robert W.Daniels,Lot 26,Charles Heights Subdivision. Miss Edna MacLean submitted a bill in the amount of $319.70 for expenses she incurred when their private water line control was cut during the construction of the Fall River storage tank.The Committee recommends Miss MacLean be reimbursed for this loss. A proposed ordinance amending Chapter 21.9-5 of the Municipal Code is re commended by the Committee for the Town Board’s adoption.This ordinance will make allowances for annexed land above the 7850 foot blue line.The proposed amendment will allow properties above the blue line to furnish the Town the required amount of water at a later date.This date shall be determined by the Board of Trustees to be the time water is available for the land in question. Mr.Milan Dickenson,representing the Estes Park School Board,appeared before the Water Committee and requested information as to when and under what conditions the Estes Park Water Department could furnish the Jr.-Sr. High School with lawn irrigation water.The Committee informed Mr. Dickenson they would study the problem and keep him advised of any progress in this area. In compliance with the Water Committee’s instructions,Town Attorney Ernest G.Hartwell presented in a letter dated November 4,1966 all of the legal steps required to annex the Town of Estes Park to the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District.The Water Committee decided to instruct the Town Attorney to prepare a series of news stories explaining the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District and its relation to the Town of Estes Park.The Committee also discussed the possibility of holding a community meeting at such time Mr.Hartwell and Mr.Barkley could explain the details involved. Mayor Graves announced the firm of C.H.Hoper and Associates have begun the new water rate study.The water rate study should be completed prior to July 1,1968. Mayor Graves reported on the recent 5 City Water Steering Committee meeting held in Ft.Collins and will make a more detailed report at the next meeting of the Board of Trustees.
