Water Committee Meeting
September 2,1966

Also Attending:Mayor Graves,Superintendent McCracken,Town Clerk Hill
The following water applications were approved:
Arlan Holmes,Fall River,2 residential units.
Rimrock Corporation,Beaver Point,Public restrooms for
Rimrock Village.The usual connect fee waived in lieu
of payment for right of way.
The following water applications were rejected:
Mrs.James Fisk,Albert Eaton Cabin,Eagle Cliff area.
One residential unit.Located above the Town’s Blue
lines and the distribution system in this area is also
inadequate.
Clyde T.Francisco,Lot 1,Division 6,High Drive Heights,
one residential unit.Above the Town’s Blue Line.
The Water Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees that the Town
furnish 2,000 feet of 4”pipe at an estimated cost of $3300.00 for the
purpose of allowing the residences in this area to winterize the water
distribution system,Eagle Cliff.
The Water Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees that the Town
furnish 450 feet of 2”pipe at an estimated cost of $300.00 for the
purpose of allowing the residences in this area to winterize the water
distribution system for the LaNier area.
Mayor Graves reviewed the necessary steps in order for the Town of Estes
Park to annex to the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District.Mayor
Graves announced there would be a meeting in Loveland for all the Board of
Trustees with Mr.Barkley,Manager of the District,about the middle of
October.
The Water Committee,after considerable discussion,recommends to the Board
of Trustees that the firm of C.H.Hoper and Associates be retained for the
purpose of establishing metered water rates for both rural and urban customers.
There being no further business,the meeting was adjourned.
