Water Counnittee Meeting

Water Applications:
Thomas I.Killinen,two residential units,Lots 3 and 9,Division 4,High
Drive Heights.The Committee recommends this application be approved.
R.V.McNaster,one residential unit,Lot 1,Division 7,High Drive Heights.
The Committee recommends this application be approved.
Robert A.Muller,one residential unit,Upper Broadview.The Committee
recommends this application be extended one year.
Tim Griffith submitted a request to receive credit for a water tap removed
in 1957 to a new location.The Water Committee denied this request.
Tim Griffith,one residential unit,south of Beaver Point.The Committee
recommends this application be approved.
The Water Committee discussed the delinquent water bill for last year at
Rimrock Cottages in the amount of $882.00.The Clerk was instructed to pre
pare the necessary resolution for the next Board of Trustees meeting for
authorization to enforce collection.
The Committee recommends all water bills be paid prior to the first Monday
in October.If not paid,rural water accounts shall be disconnected,and
urban water accounts shall be certified to the County Treasurer for col
lection.
The Water Committee reviewed C.H.Hoper and Associates’suggestions for an
automatic car wash rate.The Committee recommends Section 6.28-1 (Rates for
Town Users)shall be amended by adding to it under Additional Rates the fol
lowing:For each automatic car wash bay -$150.00,and Section 6.28-2 (Rates
for Outside Users)shall be amended by adding to it under Additional Rates
the following:For each automatic car wash bay -$262.50.
The Water Committee discussed Water Department policy in regard to serving
customers above the “Blue Line.”It was the opinion of the Committee the
Town study possible changes in this policy,particularly in regard to annexa
tions as the comprehensive water plan is completed.The Cpmnittee felt this
change in policy could not take effect in less than two yers.
