Water Committee Meeting

RURAL WATER APPLICATIONS:
Hall &Associates -One residential unit located on Lot 18,High Pines
Subdivision.The Committee recommends approval.
RATE STUDY:
Upon the return of Mayor Brodie the rate study engineer,Mr.Hoper,
will appear before the Water Committee and the Town Board to present
his recommendations as to rate increases and adjustments.
WATER RIGHT DECREE:
Town Administrator Hill reported that an error was noted in the original
tabulation of the Glacier Creek decree.The tabulation has been corrected
in accordance with the procedures under the new statute pertaining to
water rights.
LIENEMANN CONTRACT:
The Committee is in favor of submitting the D.A.Lienemann contract to
the Town Board for approval.
STANDARD RURAL WATER AGREENENT:
The Committee recommends approval of the updated contract by the Town
Board.
WATER RIGHTS FEES:
The Committee discussed changing the Water Rights Fee charges from an
area basis to a “first use”basis to be determined by the size of the
water tap.The Water Committee instructed the Town Administrator to
work with the consulting engineers,Phillips,Carter,Reister and
Associates,in determining the most equitable schedule of tap sizes as
they will relate to a water rights fee to be charged to new water
customers both urban and rural.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
