RURAL WATER APPLICATIONS:
Keith F.Machin -One residential unit located on Broadview and de
scribed as the South 80 feet of Lot 18 of the
Hayden Resubdivision.The Committee recormnends
approval.
William D.Mishler-One residential unit located near the Y junction
and described as a part of SW¼of Lot 23,Greeley
Boulder Colony Subdivision.Conditional approval
requiring customer to install 4”extension from his
property connecting to 81?main located on south side
of Big Thompson River.
Ralph Gilbert
Culter,Jr.-One residential unit located in Prospect Valley.
Coumiittee recommends compliance by developer of
requirements listed in minutes of August 5,1968,
Water Committee Meeting,before granting permission
to tap.The conditions are as follows:
“1.All six lots to be served,shall be properly
platted.
2.All street rights-of-way be a minimum of 60
feet in width.
3.An elevation line of 7,850 feet be drawn on
the plat.”
Theodore C.Vasko -One residential unit on Lot 3,Lower Broadview.Tap
number 361 was purchased in 1959 and is still in
effect but served by his neighbor’s tap.The Com
mittee recommends installation of a 2”line from the
4”main located in the County road to Lot 3 and dis
connect from neighbor’s service line.
WATER RATE STUDY:
Town Administrator Hill reported on the progress by Mr.Hoper on the rate
study.Forms designed by Mr.Hoper are being printed for use by Mr.
Terry Engelhardt who is being employed by the Water Department to do lawn
and lot measurement beginning July 13,1970.
COMF1ERCIAL METERING:
Mr.Ernest G.Hartwell,Town Attorney,is preparing a legal opinion as
to whether or not customers may be charged the cost of meters and in
stallation.The Committee instructed Town Administrator Hill and Super
intendent McCracken to negotiate with local plumbers toward a contract
for commercial meter installation.

ADDITIONAL VEHICLE:
Superintendent McCracken requests permission to purchase an additional
vehicle for the Water Department to be delivered approximately January
1,1971.The Conunittee recommends approval to order the vehicle.
SIX CITY WATER:
Town Administrator Hill reported on the expenditure required for Estes
Park as follows:
Estimated 1970 -Primarily legal and engineering
Estimated 1971 -System design
0.H.WOODS WATER LINE:
$2,000.00
$30,000.00
The Committee discussed the water line problem and recommends no change
for one more month since only two customers are served.
