Park Entrance Mutual Pipeline &Water Co.:Mr.Wilbur Larkin and Mr.Dana Russell appeared before the Committee in behalf of the Water Company requesting water for 24 lots in Park Entrance Estates Sub division.The Committee tabled the request until a recommendation is received from the Town’s consulting water engineer. Bob Bigler:Bob Bigler and Paul Van Horn appeared before the Committee to request 7 water taps for Prospect Valley.The Committee recommends approval subject to Larimer County’s accep tance of the plat of Bigler’s 10 acre tract. The Bigler extension will be installed under the supervision of the Water Superintendent. LEONARD MURPHY SWINMING POOL: Since Mr.Murphy has not complied with the water code requiring the metering of all swimming pools,the Committee recommends that the billing shall be for three times the pooi capacity and that all water for Valhalla Cottages shall be metered by June 1,1972. CHARLES HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION: The Committee instructed Superintendent McCracken and Engineer Paul Van Horn to study future requirements and the capacity of the water system in the Charles Heights Subdivision and report back to the Committee at the next meeting. NEW PIPELINE CHANGE ORDER #2: Town Administrator Hill presented change order No.2 from McStain Corp. in the amount of $10,386.00 covering nine additional taps.The Committee recommends approval. CAP CONSTRUCTION COMPANY: Town Administrator Hill reported on a September 14 quote from Mr.J.W. Reister,General Manager of Cap Construction Co.,In.,from Longmont, Colorado,for 6”and 8”cast iron pipe being laid at Highway 7 and the Golf Course Road for $2.13 per foot for 6”pipe and $2.99 per foot for 8”pipe.The Town Water Department will pay the additional cost of material only for installing 8”pipe instead of 6”pipe for the Golf Course water extension. C Water Committee October 4,1971 Page two RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS HOBBY HORSE MOIOR IDDGE: Richard Frenzel appeared before the Committee to register an objection to an early reading of water meters for the July 1 reading resulting in a greater consumption of water and larger water bills.The Committee recommends tabling the request and referring the request to Rate Engineer Hoper for his professional advice since rates and adjustments are complex procedures. DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM PLANNED GROWTH: The Committee tabled discussion of additions to the water distribution system as per planned growth until the next meeting.
