PH1Ii-COL,INC.,CONDOMINIUM DEVELOPMENT: The Committee recommends authorization to pay difference in material only between the required size and eight inch water line to be installed under the supervision of the Town Water Superintendent. POST OFFICE WATER METER: The Committee recommends flat rate billing on 5/8”meter minimum until such time as a meter location is determined. PARK SCHOOL DISTRICT WATER BATES: The Committee instructed Business Office Manager Duncan to check with nearby communities concerning their school water rates and report find ings at the next meeting. HIGH PINES SUBDIVISION: Joel Bacon appeared before the Committee in behalf of the property owners in the High Pines Subdivision and requested temporary permission to connect to a two inch private summer water line.The Committee recommends approval subject to permission from the owners of the private water line.The Town will discontinue water service to the above mentioned summer line on October 1,1971. Water Conmiittee Meeting June 7,1971 Page two RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Referring to the four inch water extension to serve High Pines Subdivision as approved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Estes Park on March 8, 1971,the Committee recommends that the Town provide the necessary four inch pipe,couplings and one—half the cost of the four inch tap for the portion from the eight inch Town main,approximately 650 feet south.Mr. Bacon acting for the owners will have a contractor install the water line according to the specifications of the Water Superintendent after first securing the necessary easement or rights—of-way.Upon completion of the extension,owners will furnish a deed to the Town subject to the Town’s approval.The Town will not allow this four inch water line to be used until all requirements are completed i.e.rights-of-way,deeds to line, etc. There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
