BUDGET FOR SIX MONTHS ENDING 12-31-71:
The Committee recommends acceptance of the budget as presented.However,
the Water Project bid opening at 3:00 P.M.today may require a budget
revision.
RURAL WATER APPLICATION:
Harry Gage:One rural residence on Lot 19,Lower Broadview.
The Committee recommends approval.
WATER METERING PROGRESS:
Superintendent McCracken reported on the number of meters to be installed
and the related problems.The Committee authorized Superintendent
McCracken to hire the help necessary to accomplish the meter installa
tions.The Committee also authorized Superintendent McCracken to proceed
with all commercial meter installations for customers not metered by
June 1,1971.Superintendent McCracken is authorized to order the 3”
and 4”meters required for large meter installations.
COMMERCIAL WATER RATE SCHEDULE:
The proposed Commercial Water Rate Schedule is available for churches,
schools,government facilities,and all similar uses other than for which
the residential water rate schedules apply.The Committee recommends
compliance with the ordinance.
COMMERCIAL METER READING DATES:
The Committee recommends reading water meters on or about June 20th for
the scheduled July 1 reading and again ninety days later on or about
September 20th for the scheduled October 1 reading.
LOCATING CUSTOMER SERVICES ON TOWN MAP:
The Committee recommends tabling the matter for further study.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned
