RURAL WATER APPLICATIONS:
Lucretia Dewey Menard:One residence on Lot 6 in Division 8 of High
Drive Heights.The Committee recommends approval
subject to applicant installing a 4”line ex
tension from the Town main located near the east
boundary of Lot 7,Division 7,and extending
west along the Columbine Street right of way to
Lot 6 in Division 8.
TINY TOWN SINClAIR REQUEST:
Superintendent McCracken reported on Al Brinkma&s request to convert
his service station wash rack to a washeteria with sixteen (16)washers.
The Town Water Engineers state that a one (1)inch tap will be required.
Due to sanitation requirements for the laundry,the one (1)inch water
tap will not be made during 1971.
JEEP BID:
Superintendent McCracken requested approval to purchase a Universal
Jeep to replace Unit W8-1964 Jeep.The Committee recommends securing
bids from dealers in Longmont,Loveland,Fort Collins and Denver,both
with and without trade.
HOLIDAY MOTEL FIRE PROTECTION TAP:
Town Administrator Hill reported that nearby cities are not charging an
additional tap fee for fire protection;and,the fire line tap is made
on the incoming service line.The Committee recommends no additional
fee for fire protection above the two (2)inch tap required for the motel.
MARY’S TAKE WATER TURN-OUT:
Superintendent McCracken reported that the excavation has been completed
in readiness for the installation of a manhole for the tunnel tap.The
Water Committee discussed the need to establish a policy regarding water
usage at this facility.
MUNICIPAL SUBDISTRICT OF NORTHERN COLORADO WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT:
Town Administrator Hill reported receiving a subdistrict statement for
$6,000.00 as prepayment of costs of operation for the period November 1,
1970,to October 31,1971.The Committee recommends approval and pre
payment.

HIGH PINES SUBDIVISION:
Joel Bacon appeared before the Committee and reported no further progress
on four (4)inch line extension since construction costs exceed the
available cash set aside for this purpose.
150 UNITS COLORADO-BIG THOMPSON WATER:
Town Administrator Hill advised the Committee that the water purchase
has been consummated.The Committee authorized Town Administrator Hill
to write to the Home Supply Ditch Company notifying them that the Town
has 355 units of Big Thompson water available as per contract.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
