RURAL WATER APPLICATIONS:
Robert H.Bigler:One rural residence located on a
portion of the Southeast ¼of Section
23,Township 5 North,Range 73 West
of the 6th P.M.The Committee re
commends approval.
Herbert N.Floersch:One rural residence located on a
portion of Lots 12 and 13,Stanley
Heights “A”Subdivision.The Com
mittee recommends approval.
Cleo Cooprider-Hi C’s Motel:Thirty two commercial units including
the existing Hi C’s Motel located on
Fall River.The Committee recommends
approval.
Park Entrance Mutual Pipeline and
Water Company:Request to purchase water for 24 lots
located in Park Entrance Estates.
The Town’s consulting engineer esti
mated the cost of the 6 inch extension
to be approximately $31,350.00.If
the Water Company shows continued
interest,the Committee recommends
proceeding with all legal and engineer
ing costs of the extension to be born
by the applicant.Fees will be estab
lished at a later date.Preliminary
approval is recommended.
LEONARD MURPHY SWIMMING POOL:
Leonard Murphy appeared before the Committee voicing his objection to
the water rights fee assessed for his swimming pool and also the water
billing for the pooi.The Committee recommends deletion of the water
rights fee in the amount of $97.20;however,the water bill in the amount
of $110.16 will stand as billed.All water for Valhalla Cottages shall
be metered by June 1,1972.
CHARLES HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION:
Town Engineer Van Horn and Superintendent McCracken made a policy recom
mendation for future water connects in the subdivision.They recommend
permitting eleven (11)residential taps on eleven undeveloped lots below
the blue line on the first filing of the subdivision and allow no addi
tional taps for lots in the second filing until the potential of the new
18 inch main has been determined.

RAW WATER PROPOSAl:
Town Administrator Hill reported on a proposal from Woodward-Clevenger
and Associates,Inc.,offering to do a study on raw water requirements
for the Town for a fee of $2,500.00 to $4,000.00.The Town’s consult
ing water engineers do not recommend the study at this time.Preliminary
results of the Phillips,Carter,Reister and Associates study indicate
the Town of Estes Park should continue to be active in the Six City
Water Committee.
DELINQUENT WATER ACCOUNTS:
The Committee instructed Business Office Manager Duncan to proceed with
the publication of delinquent urban accounts followed by certification
to the Larimer County Treasurer for collection.Delinquent rural
accounts shall be disconnected.
WATER C(STRUCTION PROGRESS REPORT:
udent McCracken reported that the 18 inch Glacier Creek line
tested for leaks.All the concrete has been poured at Black
