WUEREAS,in 1987 the Art Center of Estes Park was
established by a group of local artists;and
WHEREAS,the Art Center of Estes Park provides a space
offering an extensive collection of fine art including
painting,photography,jewelry,ceramics,glass,fiber,and
woodworking to highlight the artwork of local artists;and
‘WHEREAS,the Art Center of Estes Park is dedicated to
education and excellence in the visual arts,and is operated
through artist and community volunteers,membership,sales,
and donations;and
‘WHEREAS,the Art Center of Estes Park’s mission continues to be
providing a facility that promotes regional artists;presents
opportunities for education in the visual arts,and acts as an
advocate and partner for community arts development;and
‘WHEREAS,the Art Center of Estes Park celebrates its 35th year as a
non-profit organization enriching the creative environment of this
community.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Town of Estes Park,proclaim February 19,2022,a day of
celebration commemorating the
35thANNWERSARY
OF THE
ART CENTER OF ESTES PARK
