Parks Advisory Board
The Town of Estes Park is looking for one member to serve on a voluntary advisory board. The
board provides guidance to the Town Board on issues regarding parks in the Estes Valley with the
following mission:
The mission of the Town of Estes Park Parks Advisory Board is to advise the Board of
Trustees and the Public Works staff on:
• Compliance with Tree City USA Standards
• Establishment and implementation of the Public Art Policy
• Content and implementation of technical standards for public and private parks,
trails, plantings, and noxious weeds
• Community Environmental/Wetlands educational programs in the schools and
community efforts on river restoration, clean-up, bank revegetation and water quality
protection
One appointment to the Board will complete a partial term expiring December 31, 2021. The
second appointment will be a full-term expiring December 31, 2023. Appointees will be required to
attend meetings monthly, or more often as needed.
