Rev.Fred T.Ingold One rural residence and guest house located in the High Drive area.The Committee recommends rejecting appli cation due to location within an area currently being considered for year around service by the High Drive Asso ciation and presently within the Grove Water System area. UPPER SANITATION DISTRICT APPLICATION: Preliminary discussion of the Upper Thompson Sanitation District application indicated tabling until next meeting to give the Town attorney and attorney for the Sanitation District an opportunity to work out proposed changes re quested by the Sanitation District. CRYSTAL WATER CO •TREATMENT PlANT: Town Administrator Hill presented a letter from the Department of Reclamation to Crystal Water Co.,denying permission to construct a water treatment plant on Government lands.Bureau policy is to limit construction of this kind on Government lands to a municipal or public agency. BIDS RECEIVED ON BACKHOE: Bids received and opened at the meeting were as follows: Longmont Farm Supply-Longmont $18,450.00 McDonald Equipment Co.,-Denver 18,197.00 Frontier Ford Tractor,Inc.—Fort Collins 17,401.00 The Committee recommends accepting the bid from Frontier Ford Tractor,Inc. PUMPS FOR WATER SERVICE ABOVE BLUE LINE: Superintendent McCracken presented specifications and requirements as a standard for pump installation providing water service above the Blue Line of 7850 feet which becomes a part of these proceedings.The Com mittee recommends approval. cc RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Water Committee Meeting December 3,1973 Page Two (2) CHLORINE FOR WATER TREATMENT: Superintendent McCracken reported that Chlorine for water is becoming defficient to obtain. PROJECTED RATE INCREASE: treatment usage Business Office Manager Duncan presented a 2O7 overall rate increase indicating probable revenue to be generated.The attachment is made a part of these minutes.The Committee recommends approval with effective dates of June 1,1974,for metered water and July 1,1974,for flat rate water billing. There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
