Agnes D.McAllister:One rural residence located between Valhalla and Machin Cottages.The Committee recommends tabling until the elevation has been determined and determination of the point of origin for a 4”main extension by the Water Superintendent. Ronald E.Madsen:One rural residence to be located on Lot 21,Stanley Heights.The Committee recommends tabling until advised by the Town’s Water Engineers concerning adequacy of supply. David S.Binns:Two rural units previously approved located on Devils Gulch Road.The Committee recommends approval. JOHN JONES REQUEST: Mr.John Jones appeared before the Committee requesting that the Town bring water to his property line.The Committee advised Mr.Jones that the current water main expansion policy now in effect will be observed. 1973 WATER IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM: A.To be constructed by private contractors(bid) 1.“A”No.1-Highway 7 $80,500.00 2.“A”No.l2-”Y”Junction 5,000.00 B.To be constructed by the Water Department 1.“A”No.11-High Pines 16,500.00 2.“A”No.13-North of Devils Gulch 8,000.00 3.Extra -Connection at Catholic Church 1,500.00 C.Material for inventory 25,000.00 TOTAL $136,500.00 The Committee recommends approval. RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Water Committee Meeting July 6,1973 Page two WATER MAIN FLUSHING PROGRAM: Mr.Kemp of DMJM-PhillipsReister is preparing a suggested schedule to begin this fall at which time fire plugs will be flushed. BUU<WATER DELIVERY STATION AT TOWN SHOPS: Superintendent McCracken presented a coin operated meter system which has an estimated cost of $2,500.00 for materials plus installation.The City of Loveland is presently using this system.The Committee recommends approval.The Committee instructed Business Office Manager Duncan to check with neighboring cities to determine bulk water rates. TRACTOR-LOADER: Superintendent McCracken advised that two units are coming for demon strations.They are Ford and Long.
