RURAL WATER APPLICATIONS:
Prentice I.Fisher One rural residence located on Lot 13,
Division 6,High Drive Heights.The
Committee recommends approval subject to
connecting to a 4”main.
L.Leo Martin One rural commercial building located on
Lot 5,Block 4,Larimer Terminals.The
Committee recommends approval.
Kenneth M.Estes One rural residence located in Tract D,
part of Block 7 and Block 12,Ferguson
Subdivision.The Committee recommends
approval.
Jim Johnson One rural residence located in the Eagle
Cliff area,Lot 25,Greeley —Boulder
Colony Subdivision.The Committee recom
mends approval subject to connecting to
the Springston line extension which is
currently being planned for construction.
SPRUCE KNOB PROPERTY OWNERS REQUEST FOR WATER:
Representatives from the Spruce Knob property owners,the Landmark Motel,Dr.
Mall,Dr.Leadbetter and others in the area totaling seventeen users,presented
a request for Town water from the currently planned Big Thompson to Fish Creek
water main loop to be constructed to serve the Upper Thompson Sanitation District
Sewer Plant.The Committee instructed the Town consulting water engineers to
recommend water main size required,tap size and method of delivery for the
owners requesting water.Owners were advised of the requirement of annexation
by the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District.
RAN(E VIEW ESTATES PROPERTY OWNERS REQUEST FOR WATER:
Representatives from the Range View Estates property owners advised the Committee
that their well is inadequate and requested water for twelve owners on a temporary
basis or permanent basis.Owners were advised of the requirement of annexation
by the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District before water may be supplied.
The Committee referred the request to the Town’s consulting water engineers for
a recommendation as to feasibility.

SIX CITY WATER:
Mr.Larry Simpson of the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District staff,
Mr.Kemp,Mr.Neher of DMJM—Phillips,Reister and Town Attorney Ernest Hartwell
presented preliminary economic and projected water use information that will
effect the decision on the amount of Six City Water needed by Estes Park.The
consulting engineers will present final economic projection along with their
final recommendation as to the amount of raw water needed at a meeting to be
scheduled in the very near future.
The Estes Valley Improvement Association appeared and urged the Town to take
its full 1/6 share of the Six City Water.
SPRINKLING RESTRICITONS:
Superintendent McCracken advised the Committee of low water pressure due to
irrigation.Town consulting water engineers suggested no irrigation during
daytime hours between 7:00 A.M.and 8:00 P.M.The Committee will ask the
community to comply with this on a volunteer basis.The Committee also
instructed Superintendent McCracken to proceed with Item 15,priority A,
authorized in the Water Committee minutes of May 7,1973,at an estimated
cost of approximately $6,500.00.
