Etta Hester One rural residence located on Lot 39, Cumorrah Subdivision.The Committee recommends approval. Harvey Coleman One rural connect to serve Go—Cart property and one trailer house located on the South side of Highway 34 and East of the Lake Estes dam.The Committee recommends approval according to the terms of the Water Department extension policy.The cost of running the extension under Highway 34 will be paid by the applicant. 250 UNITS OF CBT RENTED FROM THE CITY OF BOULDER: Town Administrator Hill advised of communication with the City of Boulder to rent 250 units of CBT water and requested authorization for the expenditure which will be approximately $1,250.00.The Committee recommends approval. REQUEST FROM H.U.D.TO PAY BALANCE DUE ON 1968 LOAN $8,607.63: Town Administrator Hill presented a letter from H.U.D.requesting payment of the outstanding balance due on the 1968 loan.The Committee recommends approval. REQUEST FROM RECREATION DISTRICT ON WATER LEAK ADJUSTMENT AT THE BOAT DOCK: Town Administrator Hill presented a request for an adjustment due to a leak in the water service line at the boat dock.The Committee recommends approval according to the current policy which specifies one adjustment of 50%of water consumption per meter each five year period. DMJM-PHILLIPS.REISTER RECOMMENDATION REGARDING WATER RATE INCREASE, PLANT DEVELOPMENT FEE AND WATER RIGHTS FEE: The consulting water engineer recommends a 5%overall rate increase to be accomplished by increasing the flat rate billing by 10%in order to bring flat rate charges in line with metered rate charges. Also,the engineer recommends increasing the current plant develop ment fee to $750.00 and the water rights fee to $360.00.The Committee recommends approval and instructed the Town Administrator to have an ordinance drawn up for the first Town Board meeting in May. Cc RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Water Committee Meeting April 2,1975 Page Two (2) WATER EXTENSION AGREEMENT -P1YMOND JAEGER: Business Office Manager Duncan presented a water extension agreement signed by Raymond W.Jaeger and Genevieve H.Jaeger for approval. The Agreement is for a four inch extension serving domestic water to six lots located in County Club Manor.The Committee recommends execution of the agreement. PEDERSON TAP: Superintendent McCracken presented a request for water on a tract of land located near the Big Thompson Water Plant.A tap was granted to the property owner for Town right—of—way many years ago, and the current request is by the daughter of the property owner. Transfer of the tap will be by Quit Claim Deed and the instrument approved by the Town Attorney.The Committee recommends approval. AWWA MEETING: Town Administrator Hill advised the Committee that the National Convention will be held in Minneapolis,June 7-12,and that he will make reservations for any Committee member who wishes to attend. 1975 CONSTRUCTION PLANS: Superintendent McCracken advised of the following plans: 1.Elkhorn Avenue -fountain and fireplugs 2.MacGregor -Replace 2 or 3 inch line 3.Dannels area —Connect lines 4.Drain in Big Thompson water line 5.Fireplugs -replace two plugs damaged by freezing At the next meeting,Superintendent McCracken will give a progress report on current construction. PRPA REQUEST TO DELAY SIX CITY PAYMENT: Town Administrator Hill advised of a request by Platte River Power to delay their Six-City water payment until July.The Committee recommends to defer the request for payment until July.
