RURAL WATER APPLICATIONS:
Herbert W.Blessman One rural connect to serve a private
residence located on Lot 9,Bellevue
Heights.The Committee recommends
approval subject to a separate stop
and waste for Lot 9 and a separate
stop and waste for Lot 12.
REMOTE READER REQUIREMENT -HIGHLAND COTTAGES,ED SCHULTZ REQUEST:
Mr.Schultz requested an exception to the remote reader requirement as
specified in the Town Ordinance.The Committee recommends that the
exception be denied.
WATER PLANT OPERATORS CERTIFICATION TEST:
Superintendent McCracken requested that Dewain Lockwood attend the
Operators Certification Testing in Boulder in September 1976.The
Committee recommends approval.
OVERSIZING 4”MAIN ON GRAVES AVENUE:
A 4”main will be installed on Graves Avenue to serve Lot 31,Manford
Addition.The Committee considered oversizing of this line to 6”at
a cost of approximately $750.00 and recommends approval.
PRO-RATING RESIDENTIAL WATER BILLS FROM FLAT TO METERED:
At the request of the Business Office,Town Water Engineer Kemp provided
an equitable method of conversion from flat billing to metered billing.
The Committee recommends granting authorization to use the pro—rating
method recommended by Water Engineer Kemp.
PROPOSED BUREAU OF RECLAMATION AGREEMENT ON PENSTOCK TAP:
The Bureau of Reclamation submitted a draft of a proposed contract for
the connection of the Town’s system onto Bureau of Reclamation penstocks
above the Estes Powerplant.After due consideration,the Committee
recommends conditional approval of the agreement.When participating
contracts have been executed between the Town,the Recreation District,
and Park School District,the Town will at that time consider signing
and returning the proposed contract.

LIENEMAN AGREEMENT FOR PUMPING CHARGES TO FALL RIVER ESTATES:
The Committee read Water Engineer Kemp’s letter dated July 16,1976,
concerning minimum annual water charges for Fall River Estates and
instructed Town Administrator Hill to forward a copy of the letter to
Mr.Lieneman for his consideration.
BUDGET FOR 1977:
The Committee reviewed the Budget for 1977 and recommended that it
be submitted to the Town Board of Trustees at the regular budget
sessions.
REPORTS:
The Water Use Report for July totaled 245 acre feet of consumption
which was more than for the same period in 1975 but less than the
consumption for July 1974.
Approximately 200’of MacGregor Ranch water line has been completed.
by the Town Water Department but wet soil is hampering progress.
The AWWA conference will be held in Vail Colorado,September 13 —15.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
