RURAL WATER APPLICATIONS:
EDWARD H.BRANTZ OF BELLEVUE HEIGHTS requests service to his residence
located on Lot 7 &E½of Lot 10 and a portion of NW¼NE¼29-5-72 in
Bellevue Heights.The Committee recommends approval.
DAN STAVELY OF OLYMPUS HEIGHTS requests service to his residence
located on Lot 12,Olympus Heights.The Committee recommends approval.
ARON J.TOBISKA OF FALL RIVER ESTATES requests service to his resi
dence located on Lot 37,Block 1,Fall River Estates.The Committee
recommends approval.
SPOMER -HARMONY RANCH -WATER SERVICE REQUEST:
Mr.Don Spomer appeared before the Committee requesting whether or not
the Town would be interested in serving water to the Fish Hatchery
area and if so,could a pumping facility be included in a main exten
sion agreement.The Committee felt that the Town would be interested
in serving the area and that a pumping facility could be included in
a main extension agreement.Mr.Spomer then requested that at his
expense the Town’s consulting water engineer be contacted for a pre
liminary review of the feasibility of serving Harmony Ranch.
METER READER VEHICLE:
The Committee authorized Superintendent McCracken to obtain bids for
a four wheel drive pickup for meter reading purposes.
SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER WATERLINE:
In order to serve the proposed Senior Citizens Center,the 4”waterline
located on the south side of Stanley Park would have to be extended
approximately 715 feet.Superintendent McCracken estimated his Depart
ment could install a 4”waterline to the Center for about $4,460 (labor
and materials only).The Committee recommends proposing to the Senior
Citizens that the Town install the waterline and charge only for labor
and materials.
WATER USE FOR NOVEMBER 1978:
Water use during November 1978 showed less than a 1%decrease from
November 1977 and about a 2%decrease from October 1978.
REPORTS:
DECEMBER 1ST WATER BILLING totaled $52,618 which is in accordance with
estimated revenues.
THE HIGH DRIVE WATER DISTRICT AGREEMENT will be revised soon in order
to bring it more in line with the existing and proposed improvements
schedule.
1979 WATER RENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF BOULDER has been arranged
for 200±acre feet should the town require additional water next summer.
W.W.WHEELER will report on the water augmentation study in about two
weeks.
