RURAL WATER APPLICATIONS:
SWEET PROPERTIES -WILDLIFE ESTATES -Tom Brown and Seymour Graham
appeared before the Committee asking if Town water could be supplied
to the 41 proposed single family units on the Sweet property located
east of Carriage Hills,and if so,what would be required to connect
to the system.The Committee informed them that water would be avail
able provided that their water system design is approved by the Town’s
consulting engineer and that the system is installed in accordance with
all Town specifications and requirements.
HANS AND MARIE WAGNER -LOT 31,CHARLES HEIGHTS -request service to
their residence located on Lot 31,Charles Heights.The Committee
recommends approval provided that the lot is annexed into the NCWCD.
ROBERT McCRELE$S -LOT 7,CHARLES HEIGHTS -requested service to his
residence located on Lot 7,Charles Heights.The Committee recommends
approval.
HELMS -BLACK CANYON PLANT ROAD ACCESS:
A letter dated October 26,1978 was received from Jim Helms requesting
the Town’s permission to use the Black Canyon Plant Road as access to
his property located near MacGregor Ranch.Mr.Helms had contacted
Albion Carlson regarding use of the road and had been advised to con
tact the Town also since it has an easement.The Committee recommends
a letter be forwarded toMr.Helms stating that the Town has no objections.
WATER RATE AND TAP FEE INCREASES:
The Committee reviewed a report comparing present water rates to the
proposed rates.The Committee recommends a 10%water rate increase
to become effective with the January 20,1979 meter readings along with
the following increases in the Plant Development and Water Rights fees:

LOGAN -LOT 10,DIVISION 7,HIGH DRIVE HEIGHTS -1”WATERLINE:
Mr.Charles E.Logan requested that he be allowed to extend a 1”water
line rather than the required 6’waterline approximately 300’to his
residence located on Lot 10,Division 7,High Drive Heights.The Com
mittee recommends approval provided he obtain the necessary rights-of-way
and that the waterline remain a private line not to bemaintained by the
Town.
WATER USE REPORT FOR OCTOBER 1978:
Water use during the month of October 1978 shows a 22%decrease from
October 1977 and a 30.5%decrease from September 1978.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
