SWEET PROPERTIES -“UPLANDS AT FISH CREEK P.U.D.”:
A revised agreement was submitted to the Committee from Sweet Properties
Inc.regarding service to the “Uplands at Fish Creek Planned Unit
Development”.The Committee recommends approval of the revised agree
ment provided the following changes as suggested by the Town Attorney
are included:
1.Applicant will be responsible for right—of—way with final
approval by the Town.
2.The property owners will agree to annexation at such time as
annexation is legally possible.
3.Paragraph 2 be reworded to better explain that the Town will
pay only the cost of material (6”/8”).
4.Paragraph 4,Line 7,be reworded to read as follows:“.
relative to the furnishing of water to such users.”
WATER BILLING ADJUSTMENT REQUESTS -FRANK LANE AND ROCKMOUNT COTTAGES:
A letter dated April 17,1979 was received from the secretary of Frank
Lane’s Dance Ranch requesting some relief from the high water billing
rate resulting from bleeding of their service line.The Committee
felt that an exception to the bleeding policy should not be granted
and,therefore,recommends the request be denied.
A letter was received from Raymond Reetz of the Rockmount Cottages
also requesting an adjustment on his water bill.A water valve was
unknowingly turned on which resulted in a usage of 601,400 gallons.
The Committee recommends the request be denied.
LONG RANGE WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS -UPDATED STUDY:
The 1968 report conducted by DMJM-PR regarding water distribution
system improvements for the Estes Park system was reviewed by the
Committee.The Committee recommends the study be updated to recom
mend system improvements starting in 1980.The cost of updating the
study is estimated to be $4,000.
REPORTS:
APRIL WATER USE showed a 69%increase from April 1978 and a 15%
increase from March 1979.
CRAGS HOTEL WATERLINE -A corrected waterline deed has been received
from Crags Property Investments,Ltd.but the title information re
quested by the Town Attorrey has not yet been received.
THE SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER WATERLINE cost $872.20 for labor and $2,539.32
for materials or a total cost of $3,411.52.
FRED ALLEN’S request for a study regarding water service to the area
immediately south of Thompson’s Pinewood Acres was withdrawn as of April
24,1979.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
