RURAL WATER APPLICATIONS:
WINTHROP HOYLE -requested water service to serve their residence
located on Lot 28,Block 1,Fall River Estates.The Committee
recommends approval.
UPPER THOMPSON SANITATION DISTRICT/SCHENCK -Mr.Bob Cheney and
Mr.Ron Duell of the Upper Thompson Sanitation District requested that
the Committee approve or deny the Betty Lou Schenck request for water
service to her residence located on the Fish Hatchery Road across from
Fawn Valley.The Committee recommends denial since the Town is unable
to serve water in this area.
LEE KEMPER -requested water service for the Mary’s Lake area to be
handled by an improvement district.The Committee looks favorably
upon the formation of an improvement district pending an indication
of feasibility by the Town Water Consultant.
WATER RATE CHANGES FOR 1980:
Water rates and tap fees for 1980 were presented to the Committee for
consideration.The Committee recommends approval and the rate sheets
shall become an attachment to these minutes with tap fees effective
January 1,1980.Water rates will become effective after the January
1980 meter reading.
REPORTS:
October 1979 water use showed an increase of 43%over October 1978 and
a decrease of 15%from September 1979.
The Virginia Drive 6”water main installed by the Town has been completed.
On the Eagle Cliff water main,customer hookups have been completed by
the Town as well as taps for bleeding,if required.
Additional cover has been added to water mains in areas where the lines
are shallow-buried to reduce the possibility of freezing.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.

Water Rights Fee
1/2 acre foot of raw water is required for each 40 fixture value units (a normal
