GUTTMAR DEVELOPMENT COMPANY,INC.-An unsigned application was sub mitted by Guttmar Development Company,Inc.requesting water service to approximately 200 units on the Fish Creek Ranch. The Committee tabled consideration pending completion of the application. FALL RIVER ESTATES -CHANGE IN WATERLINE SIZING AND TAP REQUEST: Tom Brown appeared on behalf of Del Lienemann explaining the changes proposed for the waterline serving the condominiums on Lot 35,Block 1,Fall River Estates. He explained that the 1”service line serving a four—unit condominium is not providing adequate pressure and, there fore, will be replaced with a 6”waterline totlie condominiums and a 4” waterline along the building. Each condominium unit would then have a minimum sized tap into the 4”waterline.Mr.Brown requested that no additional tap fees be required above the 1”paid tap because the same number of units would be served and the same amount of water would be used. The Committee explained that the Municipal Code does not pre sently provide for different tap fees according to pressure and felt that this situation might establish an undesirable precedent. The Committee recommends that each condominium unit be required to pay the plant development fee for a minimum sized tap. WATER BILLING REFUND TO THE BUREAU OF RECLAMATION: The Committee recommends refunding $1,123.50 to the Bureau of Reclamation for an overpayment during the water billing period of October 1979 through March 1980 which resulted from an error in meter readings. PARTICIPATION IN THE AWWA APPEAL OF EPA REGULATIONS: The American Water Works Association is appealing EPA’s regulations on trilialomethanes and has requested the Town of Estes Park to participate in the amount of $50.The Committee tabled this matter.
