© BRADFORD PUBLISHING CO.,DENVER R E C 0 R D 0 F P R 0 C E E D I N G S Water Committee May 8,1980 Committee:Chairman Wagner,Trustees flannels and Meusel Attending:Trustees flannels and Meusel Also Attending:Superintendent McCracken,Finance Officer Duncan, Accountant Daniels Absent:Chairman Wagner EXCEPTION TO EXTENSION POLICY FOR LOT 33,GRAND ESTATES: Bill Van Horn appeared on behalf of Richard Wille requesting an exception to the 6”waterline extension policy.He explained that Mr.Wille will be constructing fifteen condominium units on Lot 33,Grand Estates which will require a 1”tap and a connection to the 4”waterline located approximately 160’south of the property.Mr.Van Horn requested that a 1”service line be permitted to extend from the property to the 4” waterline rather than a 6”waterline,flue to the existing development and the location of water mains in this area,no other properties would be served from this line.The Committee recommends a 1”service line be extended to the 4”water main with the understanding that the entire line would be a private line. OFFERS OF COLORADO-BIG THOMPSON WATER SHARES: Offers for 35 units of C-BT water at $2,000/unit and 20 units at $2,100/unit were received and reviewed by the Committee.The Committee felt that it could not make a decision regarding the purchase of addi tional water until the Board of Trustees finalizes its decision regarding Windy Gap. REPORTS: Water use during April 1980 showed a 12%increase over March 1980 and a 17%decrease from April 1979. The Big Horn Drive waterline has been completed and the contractor has extended the leak guarantee from one year to two years.
